If you came by yesterday and saw my Wordless Wednesday post, you were probably wondering how that pool got on top of the swing. Was it a miraculous surge of wind that picked it up and put it up there? That’s a possibility, because it feels like my house sits in a wind tunnel and the wind just rushes around my front door and around the side of the house and this tree. Or did some stranger pick it up in the middle of the night and deposit it on the top of the swing? The thought of that is kinda freaking me out. Or was it the mighty hand of God showing us a way to be “on top of the world” or getting “away from it all”, as one of my commenters put it.
Alas, no miracle, just a human hand. This is what happens when the yard is cleared in preparation for cutting the grass and you don’t really want to let the air out of the pool, or to try to shove it in the storage shed.
My daughter loves this little pool and had a grand time splashing with the dolphin a couple weeks ago. Doesn’t she look like she’s on “top of the world” and getting “away from it all”?

What a great story! I Like the pool and the dolphin is so cute! Its a nice twist! I was thinking that perhaps a storm had placed it up there!

Ha! Love it! We have a similar pool and I totally understand the lawnmowing dilemma. Usually ours gets stuffed into the garage while we take care of the grass.
My 3yo daughter L O V E S playing in the pool. My 1 1/2 yo son hates it.. maybe he’ll like it by the end of summer, but so far he’s not a big fan of water.

What great pictures and a great story. We’ve been known to put inflatable pools in interesting places, too, when we need to tend to the yard.
