I finished a crochet project today.  It’s a baby blanket that I am intending to donate to a mom in one of the online groups I belong to.

This is from a Baby Shawl pattern in the JAO Enterprises Inc. Precious Baby Blankets to knit & crochet leaflet.  I used Red Heart Baby Pink and White sport weight yarn and it’s about 33″ x 42″.  I had intended on making it all pink, but I ran out of the pink and decided to finish the last few rows in white.  Turned out pretty good, if I say so myself.

1 down, 99 million unfinished projects to go.

A couple of days ago we had a fog advisory.  I tried to take some photos of the street in front of my house.

I took these first ones with the flash on, so I guess the light reflected off the mist.  It was totally surrounding the house.

I didn’t take any more pictures that day.  Oh, and by the way….  I still haven’t taken my Christmas decorations down yet.  First, it was too cold, now I’m just procrastinating.

These I took today around 4:00 PM.  We didn’t have a fog advisory today, but it’s been misting off and on all day.

1. Do you tend to write in manuscript, cursive, or a combination of the two?

I write mostly in cursive, but every now and then, I do a combination, especially when I’m in a hurry.

2. When you were learning how to write in school, which letter gave you the most trouble?

I don’t remember much about learning to print, but learning cursive…  they all gave me trouble.  I sat in the back and couldn’t see the blackboard.  That’s when they found out I needed glasses.

3. If you could redesign any cursive letter, which would you choose and why?

Hmmm…  that’s a good question.  I really can’t think of one.  To me, cursive is very graceful and elegant, when written properly and neatly.

4. Do you consider your handwriting to be more neat or less neat than the average person’s?

Probably more neat.  I’ve worked for a couple of doctors and in a pharmacy.  Makes you very aware of not so neat handwriting, so I’m always careful to make my writing as legible as possible.

5. When you sign your normal signature, roughly what percentage of the letters in your name (as you sign it) are clearly legible?

All of them.  Although sometimes, my middle initial “I”, some people think it’s a “D”.  But it almost never fails on my last name.. it starts with a “Y”, and it doesn’t matter how legible I make it, everybody thinks it’s a “V”.
